LEARNING ABOUT FTALATES

Hi,
Today I will talk about what we haver learning in technology class about ftalates.

Ftalates are additives used in every day plasticproducts to increas durability, transparency and flexibility. Everywhere, we can find it inplastics bags, in the water and in the things that we can imagine. Also, our skin absorb it. But they are very dangerous because contaminating our planet and also our bodies. We absorbalot of ftalates because we can find them everywhere, also we can absorb it by our skin.
There are two young scientists trying to explain howaccidents have arrived to discoveries and to give another idea to don't produce more ftalates. I think that her work and their archievements are very good, I like it a lot these video and I think that it's also very interesant. I like the job they have done and we have know about it.
In my opinion I think that this it isn't a bad thing in this case.Without the descovery of Alexander Fleming, a biologist, nowadays we couldn't fight with many bacterial infections if this accident would not happen

SIMPLE MACHINES AND MECHANISMS

Hello,
Today I will talk about  simple machines and mechanisms, that we have work in this unit.
What are simple machines? make work easier for us by allowing us to push or pull over increased distances.
There are 6 types of simple machines:
1: The inclined plane: A flat surface or plane that is slanted, or inclined, so it can help move objects across distance. A common inclined plane is a ramp.
2:Lever: A lever is a stiff bar that rests on a support called a fulcrum which lifts or moves loads.
3: Screw: A screw is an inclined plane wrapped around a pole which holds things together or lifts materials.
4: Pulley: A pulley is a simple machine that  uses grooved wheels and a rope to raise, lower or move a load.
5: Wheel and axle: A Wheel with an axle through its center lifts or moves loads.
6: Wedge: A wedge is an object with at least one slanting side ending in a Sharp edge, which cuts material apart.

In our daily life we use a lot of simple machines such as the wheels cars, a knife, a door handles etc.
TRANSMITION OF MOVEMENT
Rotary motion is turning round in a circle, such as a wheel turning.
Linear motion is moving in a straight line, such as on a paper trimmer.
Reciprocating motion is moving backwards and forwards in a straight line, as in cutting with a saw.
Oscillating motion is swinging from side to side, like a pendulum in a clock.

We also have study the mechanisms
What are mechanisms? Mechanisms are objects that make it easier for people to do work.
Mechanisms are formed by:

There are differents types of cams:
Circular cam

Pear cam

Snail cam

Four-lobed cam.

-Gears: Is the part of an engine that chanes enginepower into moviment.

-Pulleys:Wheel on an axle of shaft that is designed to support movement and change of direction of a rope or belt along its circumference.

In our daily life we use mechanisms such as bikes, motors etc.
